Alpha and Omega shots of my day
May 13, 2006
Here is how my day began on friday: the early morning son reaches out to touch me, gently and unexpected.
The sun quickly follows suit, bringing forth a rare and precious week-day morning breakfast smile. Notice the errant oat, hanging unoticed…
The ride to work was greatly enhanced by my stereo bluetooth headphones which I can’t stop raving about. The fellows in the staff room roll their eyes as I corral another unsuspecting victim, extolling and demonstrating the cool factor of streaming stereo AV from my celphone to the speakers I hijacked (bluejacked?) from a coworker at the other end of the staff room.
In the meantime, I thought I would give you a mini tour of the part of my school where I spend most of the time:
And so my week at work comes to an end–not really, but the phrase hangs well with these parting photos:

Nice video Patrick. I’ve been at your school many times and I always like that grass/water area inside.

Isha’s facial expression is “deja vu” all over again… some 32 years ago, this was one of your favourite look for picture taking… If you check your photo album, look for pictures taken in Niagara Falls or at the ball park during an Expo game.
I enjoy reading you and seeing all of you.
Thanks.

I am glad to know you were driving with both hands. You will have to explain how you did it… What you write is always colorful and this time it sounds like a place I would really enjoy. Why don’t you move there?
I hope the kids will be happier to see us than they were wishing me Happy mother’s day. Hope I won’t have to pay you $10.00 for each picture I will take…
Thanks for your call. love, mom
